HUNYADI INDULÓ by Ferenc Erkel (1810-1893) is edited by Brian Hughes. This 1844 Hungarian march is a classic example of the indigenous “verkunkos” folk style. Ferenc Erkel was a true man of the theatre and the leading figure in 19th Century Hungarian opera.
