HEAR MY VOICE – In this remarkable piece, the audience is invited to “hear my voice… pierce the ceiling of the waves.” Taken from the Book of Psalms, the work includes an aleatoric section where individual choir members each sing “hear my voice” in a different language and on a different pitch, imitating the waves themselves. A guide with that phrase translated into over 50 languages is included.
